Description
Nadia Gullestrup is chair of the Danish Youth Climate Council. The council's role is to bring youth climate perspectives to the policymakers and engage young people in the debate about how to scale climate action. Her focus is on strengthening the collaboration between young people and the private sector in the climate debate.
Previously, she was a youth delegate to the UN for Climate and Environment, where she represented Danish Youth at UN meetings like COP26. When she was a youth delegate, she prioritized working to engage youth from the global south and breaking down barriers for their participation to enable a more inclusive youth engagement in the climate debates at the UN.
She has a bachelor's in Natural Resources, and she is now studying for her master’s in Environmental and Resource Economics.
