Abla Hanna is the Director General of the Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) at Natural Resources Canada. The Office of Energy Efficiency provides policy advice to the Minister of Natural Resources to optimize energy use in Canada and delivers programs, guidance, and regulations to support Canadians, businesses, and industry effectively reduce energy use. Ms. Hanna has worked in the natural resources and energy policy and program space for more than 10 years, including leading both the Demand Policy & Analysis and Buildings & Industry Divisions of the OEE and Director Resource Development Operations. Ms. Hanna has worked in a number of other federal ministries, including Health Canada and Service Canada.
