Description
Economist with a master's degree in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Project Management from the European Graduate Institute, IEP.
Expert in the energy sector, developing formulation projects and having more than 12 years experience in leadership positions related to the generation, distribution, commercialization and financing of energy in Colombia.
She has served as Commercial Director of Black Orchid Solar S.A.S., as the Commercial Manager at Electrificadora del Meta S.A. E.S.P and as a Sales Executive at Electricaribe.
Katharina has also served In the National Government, as an advisor in the Regulatory and Business Affairs Office of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and as liaison between FENOGE and the Regulatory and Business Affairs Office, supporting the structuring process of the Renewable Energy Sources Auction as an advisor for the formulation of public policy from the financial and economic component stand out.
Assumed the Executive Direction of the Non-Conventional Energy and Efficient Energy Management Fund - FENOGE in April 2020. In this position, she has consolidated its operational structure and has directed it to become a resource multiplier fund, through the creation of investment vehicles to develop the market for Non-Conventional Sources and Efficient Energy Management. She also leads the implementation of multiple projects focused on energy transition for the neediest populations, all under a gender and diversity approach with intersectionality criteria.
