is responsible for managing the Commercial Buildings Section in the Industrial Energy Efficiency branch at Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. Stanford is an experienced senior public servant with a sound understanding of principles and processes that govern energy efficiency ratings systems under the NABERS and CBD programs and has managed the CBD program for more than 10 years. He was previously the Commonwealth representative and acting Chair of the NABERS National Steering Committee. Stanford is the Australian representative on the IEA Energy in Building and Communities executive committee.
