Energy Efficiency Policy Analyst

Description

Cornelia is Energy Efficiency Policy Analyst at the International Energy Agency, where she leads the E4 India Programme and the E4 work on financing and ESCO models. Her work involves policy and data analysis, capacity building and policy advice as well as liaising with national and international partners in emerging economies to support their clean energy transitions towards net zero emissions. Focal areas include financing and business models and transport. Cornelia has more than 12 years experience in international technical collaboration, including on renewable energy and energy efficiency policy analysis, financing mechanisms and project preparation, the development of national energy efficiency strategies, the development and implementation of regional programmes for energy efficiency and regional knowledge exchange processes comprising up to 28 countries. She has worked in Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Hindu Kush Himalaya region. Cornelia holds a Masters of Law with Specialisation in International Law from the University of Vienna, and a MSc in Environmental Technologies and International Affairs from the Vienna University of Technology.
