Experience : 18 years of experience in Energy Management and Policies in various sectors of Indian Economy.
Was Involved in various activities under National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) for compliance to various rules and notifications under Perform Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme.
Also involved in developing and coordinating different schemes of State Designated Agencies (SDAs) for implementation of Energy Conservation Act at the state level.
Was actively participated in “Bachat Lamp Yojana” a CDM based lighting scheme. I was the coordinator between BEE, CDM executive board and the implementors for implementation of BLY scheme and issuance of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) by UNFCCC.
Undertaking the Capacity Building of DISCOMs on Demand Side Management (DSM) and Energy Efficiency. Under this program, about 10000 officials were trained and DSM action plans were prepared for the DISCOMs.
Currently working on Standards and Labeling program of BEE.35 appliances are covered under this progrm,where,16 are under mandatory regime.
