The E4 Training week consists of 5 parallel courses on: energy efficiency in: 1) buildings; 2) appliances and equipment; 3) industry; 4) transport; and 5) indicators and evaluation.
Each course offers a combination of lectures, interactive discussions and practical exercises that allow participants to learn from international best practice and from each other.
The programme also includes sessions on assessing the potential for energy efficiency, financing, tracking progress, and communication campaigns as well as exploring the social and economic benefits of energy efficiency measures. The trainers for each stream are carefully selected international experts who bring a number of years of experience from the private and public sectors as well as experience across a range of countries and regions.
The training is aimed at energy efficiency policymakers, principally from energy ministries and supporting institutions at central and state levels across India. We would, however, also accept applications from those in relevant sectors of industry or knowledge-based institutions. While there is no fee to participate in the training, participants will be responsible for paying for their own travel and accommodation.
Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
