Profession & Experiences • (2016-2023) Currently providing technical consultancy to the Test Labs and Independent organizations on Capacity Buildings in the areas of setting-up new test facilities of durable White Goods, Home Appliances, energy efficiency & labeling and related operations to enhance operations & development. • (1996-2016) Full Time Associated with VOICE from 1996 in the execution of core activities of Comparative Product Testing (CPT), Evaluation, Grading of consumer products and dissemination for informed choices based on overall test performance. CPT covers more than one dozen processes incorporated in a Comparative Product Testing cycle that includes Pre-testing, Sampling & Lab-Testing & Post-Testing processes. Till date have been able to get tested/published hundreds of consumer products in the category of Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Health/Hygiene, Cosmetics/Personal care products. • (1992- 1995) Served for three years in a Pvt. Sector Undertaking Anika Space Technology Ltd. & Hartron Anika Communication & Electronics Ltd. N. Delhi manufacturing space, navigation, weather forecasting and GPS instruments installed in Ships, Air Traffic Control, Scientific & Research labs, Meteorological deptt., Dam sites etc. • (1977-1992) Served Indian Air Force (IAF) as Avionics Engineer as Radar Specialist, acquired wider exposure of various Radars, Avionics, Navigation, Communication and weather forecasting Equipment. International Exposures: - Regular exchange of information with International Consumer Testing Organisations, ICRT, Europe, Germany, US,UK,ANZ,HK etc. on Comparative Product Testing & Evaluation - Familiarisation of Comparative Testing to VCOs of Sri Lanka, Nepal & Bangladesh & Pakistan. - Regional/ International association in the field of Energy Labelling in association with USDOE, USEPA, ICF, CLASP, IIEC, USAID,APP, REEEP, Eco-ASIA etc. Comparative Testing of products & services of the global organisations.
