Professional with 23 years of experience in energy and infrastructure sectors with specific intent towards sustainable development through Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Energy Conservation, Carbon Finance, ESIA, Women Empowerment, Net Zero building, Clean Cooking, Sustainable Cooling, Carbon Neutrality etc.
He has been instrumental in devising business strategy for Demand Response, Energy Management, Energy Consulting, Sustainable cooling, distributed renewable generation, Demand Side Management, Demand Aggregation etc.
He has been successful in making definite contribution in Energy sector by formulating sustainable business strategies, managing P&L, developing innovative business models for achieving Sustainable Development Goals and Net Zero target; building enterprising teams delivering renewable as well as energy efficiency projects in Asia, Middle East, and Africa region.
After starting his professional career with NTPC, he has worked in organizations such as DIAL, Lanco Infratech, BGR Energy & BVG India before moving to EESL in January 2020 and has been working in the roles of developer, EPC contractor, program designer, consultant, investor, policy advocate etc.
He is currently heading International Business, Strategy, Project Evaluation & Assessment for EESL. He is also Director on the Board of EESL Energy Solutions LLC, which is a Joint Venture of EESL in Dubai.
His professional qualification includes PGDM- Finance & Energy from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon; Energy Auditor; and BE- Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2000.
