Venue

The Energy Efficiency Training Week will take place at the International Energy Agency Headquarters, located at 9 rue de la Fédération, 75015, Paris France.

Accommodation

Participants are responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements and are encouraged to select hotels close to the training venue. We suggest booking as early as possible to secure the best possible rate.

Travelling to Paris

There are two main airports that serve the city of Paris:

  • Roissy Charles de Gaulle: Address: 95700 Roissy-en-France - Located approximately 42 km from the IEA. This is the largest airport, located North of Paris and used most often for international flights. 
  • Orly Airport: Address: 94310, Paris Located approximately 22 km from the IEA. This airport is located in the South of Paris and is typically used for domestic, or medium-haul flights and low-cost airlines. 
Visas
Citizens of the European Union (EU) do not require a visa for entry into France. Non-EU citizens should consult the appropriate authorities to check for visa requirements. Event attendees are responsible for applying for an obtaining any required visas for travel. While the IEA cannot organise a visa on your behalf, we can provide a personalised letter of invitation if required.

Transportation from the airport
Transport to and from the airport to the city is possible by public transportation using RER B from Charles de Gaulle or the Orly-Val from Orly Aiport. 

If you choose to use a taxi, please be mindful that there is a flat rate for taxis to and from the airport and the city of €50 from Charles de Gaulle to the right bank and €55 to the left bank and €30 from Orly Airport to the left bank and €35 to the right bank.
