Description
Ms. Attia brings over 20 years of experience in the environmental and energy sectors. She specializes in policy formulation, program identification, implementation, and monitoring as well as coordination of these at various levels. Ms. Attia has worked as a Programme officer in UNIDO for approximately ten years.
She manages the energy portfolio in UNIDO Egypt. She is responsible for the overall coordination of the execution of various projects, such as the Industrial Energy Efficiency project, the Solar Heating in Industrial Applications project, the Egyptian programme for promoting energy-efficient motors, and others.
She contributes to the transition to a sustainable energy future in Egypt under the overarching UNIDO mandate of inclusive and sustainable industrial development.
