Nairobi Energy Efficiency Policy Training Week


Additional Information

  • The training course is delivered in English and therefore proficiency in English is an essential requirement for all participants. 
  • There is no attendance fee for the training. However, participants will be required to pay for their own travel and accommodation. 
  • Last applications and nominations are currently being processed. Candidates will be informed via email whether or not their application has been successful. 
  • A detailed agenda is available on the website. 
  • Participants must be accredited and be in possession of their identification badges throughout the training week. Badges will be available from 9:00am on 18 March 2024. Photographic identification will be required to receive the badges. 
  • Catering (two tea breaks plus lunch) will be provided for all participants and speakers during the training week. A reception will be held on 18 March 2024 after the training.

  • Participants may need an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) to travel to the Republic of Kenya. We suggest checking the Government's official website for Visa applications.

  • Participants may need proof of a yellow fever immunization card before travelling to Kenya. Ensure that you receive the yellow fever vaccine at least 10 days before your departure.

The Training Week will be held from 18-21 March 2024 at the Safari Park Hotel, a 5-star hotel in the heart of Nairobi, Kenya, set in 40 acres of landscaped gardens. 

The venue is located on Thika Super Highway, Exit 7B, 15 minutes from Nairobi CBD, 20 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
