Description
Industrial Civil Engineer from the University of Chile and Master in Environmental Engineering from the University of Melbourne. He has more than 20 years of experience in public policy development.
He worked at the Undersecretariat of Telecommunications, where he developed programs to bring communications and the Internet to remote and rural areas.
He worked at the National Energy Commission from 2007 to 2011, and then moved to the Energy Policy Division of the Ministry of Energy, where he was responsible of energy studies.
Since 2012, he has been part of the Sustainable Energy Division, where he initially focused on the designing of the Public Solar Roofs Program to promote distributed generation. He currently heads the Productive Sectors Unit, which promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy in companies. He participated in the drafting of the Energy Efficiency Law and is responsible for the implementation of the article related to large energy consumers.
