Leonardo Genofre is Advocacy and Institutional Relations Manager at Daikin Latin America Division, where he leads initiatives on CO2 net zero emission in the Climatization Industry (Air Conditioning), which includes the promotion of Energy Efficiency standards in Mercosur countries ( Brazil / Argentina / Paraguay / Uruguay). This activity includes the analysis of regulatory framework in Mercosul region and implementation of advocacy initiatives in order to contribute to Daikin's global vision of achieving total neutralization of its CO2 emissions by 2050. In this sense, the promotion of Energy Efficiency is a fundamental pillar for achieving this challenging goal. Before joining Daikin, he worked for more than 20 years in political analysis, regulatory assessment and advocacy in multinational companies from different sectors. Leonardo has a degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainability.
