Description
Rosa Riquelme is currently the Executive Director of the Energy Sustainability Agency (AgenciaSE). She is an Economist from the University of Chile, graduated in Economics of Equality and Gender Equity from the same school and certified in Public Management for Development from the Inter-American Development Bank. In his professional career he has contributed to the development of energy issues for the country from the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies in the area, from the Energy Efficiency Division of the Ministry of Energy, the Technical Cooperation Service and the Ministry of Education.
Before taking over as Executive Director, at AgenciaSE she led the Efficient Air Conditioning Line, leading important challenges such as the diversification of the heating matrix, the improvement in firewood production and the incorporation of new technologies, such as District Energy.
It is part of the Women in Energy Program, of the World Energy Council, a network of women representatives from different sectors of the energy industry, with varied technical knowledge and experiences that contribute to the debate and propose innovative solutions to future challenges.
