is the Director of Energy Efficiency: South African Department of Mineral Resources and Energy and has been instrumental in developing and implementing energy efficiency policies in South Africa.
He has B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry from University of Fort Hare, and B.Sc. Honours in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Pretoria, and master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of KwaZulu Natal.
He obtained extensive professional experience through his work with the South African Weather Service as a Meteorologist and Weather Forecaster, Assistant Director at the Department of Trade, Industry & Competition, and with the City of Johannesburg responsible for Air Quality Management and Climate Change.
