has 16 years’ experience in the energy sector, having designed and successfully implemented a number of energy efficiency projects. His contribution was critical in the 2007 mass CFL exchange programme in Ghana and the installation of capacitor banks in selected public buildings, which saved Ghana 124MW annually and US$50,000 monthly respectively. He also managed the GEF/UNDP funded project on Energy Efficient Refrigerators and Market Transformation in Ghana that resulted in annual savings of 400GWh Ghana. Mr Agyarko served as a member of the UNEP-GEF lighting and refrigerating task force and has served as a resource person on a number of energy efficiency and conservation seminars worldwide.
