Description

is working as a General Manager Renewable Energy Research and Development at the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC). He has great expertise and experience in renewable energy exploration and exploitation, energy efficiency and energy management. Prior to joining REREC, Mr. Ishugah worked for 5 years as Sustainable Energy Expert at United Nations Industrial Development Organizations (UNIDO) seconded at the East African Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (EACREEE). Earlier, he worked as a Faculty member at Kenyatta University in the Department of Energy Engineering for a period of 5 years. Mr. Ishugah holds a Master of Science degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermo-Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Energy Engineering from Kenyatta University (Kenya). He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and holds various renewable energy and energy efficiency licenses by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
