Description
Mr. Raimonds Čudars is the minister for Climate and Energy of the Republic of Latvia.
Mr. Čudars is a politician with extensive experience in local politics - for 13 years he was a Chairman of the Salaspils Municipality Council, representing the political party "Unity". Before that, he was a practicing lawyer.
Additionally Mr. Raimonds Čudars was a member of the European Committee of the Regions - Commission for Environment, Climate Change and Energy (ENVE) and Commission on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON).
Currently, as the Minister of Climate and Energy of the Republic of Latvia, he has clearly set a main goal - promoting Latvia's opportunities to become an electricity exporting country.
