With over 14 years of experience working as a green finance consultant, M.A. Eng. Michal Deuszkiewicz MBA has worked on more than 30 projects for European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Frankfurt School of Finance and Development, Deloitte Poland, DAI UK LTD., intec-Gopa, Safage, CES Clean Energy Solutions, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting, Rina, Polish National R&D Centre, Devpar. He has also provided pro bono advice to the Polish Ministry of Climate on hydrogen economy and gave lectures on the Warsaw University of Technology covering thermodynamics and renewable energy sources.. He is involved with projects in: Poland, Morocco, Tajikistan, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Kenya, Ghana, Niger, Malawi, India, Vietnam, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Botswana, Namibia, Ghana and London. The scope of his work focuses on providing technical support to green finance facilities (mainly to Small and Medium Enterprises) in developing countries. Mr. Deuszkiewicz has made over 300 green project assessments himself and coordinated many more thus gaining experience across many technologies and economy sectors. Working for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development he is one of the creators of the Green Technology Selector (GTS) - a green eligibility platform used by EBRD on their green finance facilities. He has taken part in creating the methodology and the IT application as well as operationalisation of the GTS in all EBRD Countries of Operation. He has trained and cooperated with >100 local consultants from these countries. He has coordinated the alignment of the GTS to the Paris Agreement as well as the EU directives. Currently he is involved as a Lead Engineer in the EBRD Green Economy Financing Facility in Jordan, provides advice on Nature Based Solutions and coordinates senior consultants on the SME ESG+D projects.
