Steve Kukoda joined the International Copper Association (ICA) in 2004 and is currently the organization’s Executive Director. ICA is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 6 trade association that represents the world’s copper industry. Steve develops and maintains relationships with organizations external to the copper industry, including governments, intergovernmental organizations, the United Nations, foundations, and more. These partnerships cover many facets of sustainable development, including energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, food supply, public health, and more. Steve serves as the industry lead on United For Efficiency (U4E), a public-private partnership that aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Energy For All (SEforALL) initiative. Steve is based in ICA’s global headquarters in New York and lives in New Jersey.
