Description
Edyta Nowak is a policy officer in the Energy Efficiency unit of the Directorate-General for Energy. She joined the European Commission in 2005 and has been working on the development and implementation of energy efficiency policies since 2021. Her main areas of expertise include energy efficiency obligation schemes and industrial aspects. She also has extensive experience in international relations, in particular in external energy engagement. She has worked in the EU delegations in Russia and Azerbaijan, including as an energy counsellor. Edyta has a background in economics and is fluent in Polish and English as well as speaks French and Russian.
