Description
Ms Winifred Awinpoya Atanga is a 22-year-old Ghanaian student at the African Leadership University Rwanda. She is also an educator for IRENA’s I ACT Toolkit: a mentorship initiative, comprising of presentations and workshops to lead engaging and informative training in local communities, schools, and universities. She is also the founder of the Conservation Leaders Network and co-founder of EcoHomes – a youth-led initiative dedicated to providing a space to promote sustainable changes through sustainability projects and campaigns i.e., clean cooking solutions. She has worked closely with local authorities, including chieftaincy, to implement her EcoHomes initiative; having successfully conducted several awareness campaigns and workshops to educate community members on the importance of energy conservation and energy efficient practices.
