Description
Ms. Reena Suri is the Executive Director of India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF). She is responsible for the research projects, advisory services, business development, training and capacity building programs, customer outreach activities, members relations and finances of ISGF. In almost 10 years at ISGF, she has worked as a Manage and General Manager, leading various key activities of ISGF including research, advisory services, business development, training and capacity building programs, customer outreach activities, members relations, monthly bulletin, ISGF portal and finances of ISGF. She brings over 21 years of experience in the Energy Sector, having worked for more than 5 years for the South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy (SARI-Energy) project and with Tetra Tech’s Emerging Markets unit for 7 years as a Senior Associate.
Currently, Reena is leading the first of its kind Blockchain Pilot Project, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India, for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) trading of Rooftop Solar Energy.
She is the founder-editor of the Smart Grid Bulletin published by ISGF since January 2014.
Reena has been appointed as the Global Ambassador of Energy Web Foundation for India.
Reena has worked with ISGF Board to conceive, design, develop and the successful delivery of ISGF’s Annual Event, India Smart Utility Week (ISUW) since 2015.
