This stream will present the key concepts of the industry energy efficiency policy package: a combination of regulation, information, and incentive measures to unlock energy efficiency benefits in the industry. It will cover the main policies that we believe have had successful results (from energy audits and management systems, to reporting requirements and financial incentives). It will focus specifically on presenting case studies that have followed the ‘policy package’ approach.
The week-long training will focus on providing not only theoretical content but will be based on real life examples, case studies and experience sharing. The stream leads will engage as much as possible with the participants and they will be encouraged to interact as much as possible as well.
