Description
Dr. Edi Assoumou is an energy systems' transition expert with over 20 years of experience in energy modeling and policy, long term scenario definition, low carbon pathways assessment, and innovation and technology forecasting. He has an extensive expertise in systemic thinking applied to energy systems and has developed or contributed to the development of energy system models for different geographical scopes and sectoral coverage. He has worked on systemic analysis at local, national, continental or global scales combining modeling and data analysis to support decision makers.
He is currently coordinating the work of the experts providing technical assistance for the development of the “African Union Energy Efficiency Strategy and Action Plan”.
