Description
Angellah Wekongo has background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and works for CLASP in Nairobi, Kenya. She supports CLASP's climate portfolio and clean Energy Portfolio, including developing national frameworks and regulations for more energy-efficient, high-performing appliances across Africa.
Angellah manages CLASP South Africa portfolio where we support SANEDI in techno-economic market analysis and development of Energy Efficiency standards for water & appliances. Some of her other projects include training of Compliance frameworks for EAC and SADC members states under the EELA project, leapfrogging to energy-efficient refrigerators and distribution transformers in Botswana, Market analysis of lighting in Mozambique and Zanzibar
Before joining CLASP, Angellah supported the implementation of the appliance standards and labelling programs and energy audits at Kenya's energy regulator.
