Description
Meg Seki has held various positions in the Secretariat for the Vienna Convention and its Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (Ozone Secretariat) in UNEP since 2003; currently the Executive Secretary.
From 1994 to 2003, she worked in UNEP on global environmental assessment, climate change and interlinkages among multilateral environmental agreements. Before 1994, she worked in the Ozone Secretariat when it was formally established in 1989, was the first UNEP consultant on country programmes and worked in Fiji, Ghana, Maldives, Syria, Uganda and Zambia on their first country programmes and also worked as Regional Ozone Officers’ Network Coordinator for Southeast Asia.
