Description
As the Global Head of Manufacturing and Services at EBRD, Frederic is leading expert in climate finance, responsible for one of the largest private industry investment portfolios in Emerging Markets. EBRD is a multilateral development bank (MDB) financing projects across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. His group annually invests $1bn debt and equity in the manufacturing and services sectors, which are essential for economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The Manufacturing and Services group’s portfolio of $4bn is in majority addressing decarbonisation of industry and transport.
A French national, he started his career at the World Bank in Washington. He has been on the Board of the Societe Generale Romanian Development Bank, of Ukraine International Airlines and of MS Pharma in the Middle East. Frederic is an engineer with degrees from MIT and from the INSEAD MBA programme. Frederic and his family are based in London and Paris.
