Description
Anne Wacera Wambugu is an electrical engineer and researcher with over 8 years of experience in the electricity access sector. Her engineering work focuses on demand side energy issues including quality, standardization, and conformity assessment of electrical energy systems i.e. direct current systems such as solar photovoltaics and household electrical appliances. Her research work focuses on the interaction of electrical systems and appliances; engineers (including technicians) of those systems and; end users. Other themes in her work are the gender mainstreaming of renewable energy technologies, the use of electrical technologies to improve health outcomes in Sub-Saharan Africa, and digitization of energy infrastructure.
