Description
Rushad Nanavatty is a prominent figure in the climate tech sector, leading Third Derivative, a top early-stage climate tech accelerator. He has significantly contributed to the growth of over 100 startups, each with the potential to substantially reduce emissions, helping them secure over $500 million in funding and establish key corporate partnerships. Rushad co-founded the Global Cooling Prize, aiming to innovate climate-friendly residential cooling solutions. His prior roles include working with the Energy Web Foundation and serving as the COO of WeGen Energy, focusing on off-grid energy solutions in Southeast Asia. With a background in consulting at McKinsey & Company, Rushad holds an MS from Johns Hopkins University and a BS from the University of Delhi. He is currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
