Description
Kofi Agyarko is a renowned energy efficiency expert with international recognition. He has worked with SEED Solutions and played a pivotal role in implementing prepayment metering systems in Ghana. At the Energy Commission, he contributed significantly to various energy efficiency projects, including the 2007 mass CFL exchange programme and the GEF-UNDP funded project on Energy Efficient Refrigerators. His efforts have fostered strong relationships between the Energy Commission and energy sector stakeholders. He has been a resource person at numerous seminars and workshops on Energy Efficiency and Conservation. He served on the UNEP refrigerator and lighting task force and the Energy Efficiency Task Force of the Montreal Protocol Technical and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP). Currently, he is part of the Cool Coalition's Interim Steering Committee and chairs the Working Group on used products import to Africa. His contributions to energy efficiency are widely recognized and published in reputable journals.
