Description
Mafalda Silva is a former IEA official with experience in methodologies for efficiency indicators and indicators analysis. She has served at the IEA (2017 – 2021) as a statistics manager leading the efficiency indicators work stream, and has had the chance to collaborate with many countries around the world (particularly under the clean energy transitions programme) to support the development and reporting of end use data and national efficiency indicators.
Currently she is a Principal Researcher at INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, in Porto, Portugal. She coordinates and participates in different European and national projects around energy efficiency and sustainable energy transitions. She holds a PhD in sustainable energy systems, a MSc in Ecology and Territory and a BSc in Environmental Sciences.
