Luiz Gustavo Silva de Oliveira is the local consultant in Brazil for the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he leads the Brazilian analyses and supports IEA projects in the country and Latin America. He has more than 14 years of experience in the energy sector, working on decentralized energy resources, energy planning, policy and innovation. Luiz Gustavo has international experience and has worked for private companies, the Brazilian government, in academia and as an independent consultant. Luiz Gustavo is a PhD in Dynamics of Technological Innovation Systems, an MSc in Energy Planning and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering.
