Description
Mrs. Virginia Zalaquett is a Civil Engineer of Industry with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), with extensive experience in energy policies, particularly in energy efficiency. She was Head of the Energy Efficiency Division of the Chilean Ministry of Energy being responsible for defining energy efficiency policies for the country. At present, she is a part time professor of the Diploma in Energy Efficiency at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). She was Member of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Energy Sustainability Agency. She is currently candidate for an Executive Master´s degree in new technologies, innovation and leadership at Ecole Polytechnique, France.
